Are you sure?" Aditi's mother's voice disturbed Aditi's precious sleep. Frowning she turned to other side.

"There's nothing we can do about this" Her father's voice made her sigh in irritation as she put the pillow on her face as if it would avoid the voices.

"But Raj, it's okay for Adi and Chhavi but Aditi? She is already so stubborn" Her mother's voice made her open her eyes in confusion. She sat up on bed. They were talking about her. Curiousness crept on her.

"Priya, you know I can't do anything. It's not my fault" Rajesh's words made her frown in confusion. Shrugging she was about to sleep back when she heard her mother saying " I know but jaan basti hai uski Samaira aur Anvika mein"

She sat up again. Anvi and Sammy? She rubbed her eyes. She checked the time on clock. It showed 12 AM. It didn't sound different for her as her father often came late after office and he and her mother both used to have dinner together.

"What can we do now? She has to leave them" Rajesh's voice removed all the sleep from her eyes as her eyes widened. Leave them? She thought.

Without waiting for a second, she made her way towards the dining table and spotted her parents. She went towards them.

Sensing someone's presence they both looked at the person standing in front of them looking all confused but cute. A chuckle escaped from Rajesh's throat.

"Kya hua bachche? Aise kyu khadi hai?" Rajesh asked her.

"Papa aap log kya baat kar rahe the abhi?" She asked him frowning as she saw amusement in her father's eyes.

"Nothing " Her mother reply came with an expression that said 'don't ask further'.

She pouted slightly at her mother's strictness. A chuckle escaped from Rajesh, again. Now he felt glares from two sides, he raised his hands in surrender.

"Aditi, go back and sleep. We'll talk tomorrow" He said as he reached towards her, patted her head and turned her towards her room.

She frowned but didn't argue. Sitting on her bed, she opened Instagram on her phone.

She frowned as she saw the likes on her Instagram story.

"Kamaal ke log hai yaar, story dekh kar like bhi nahi karte" she murmured to herself as she put the phone beside.

Thinking about her parents talk, she drifted to sleep not knowing that her life will change in some days.

Aditi's POV

"Aditi, Chhavi... Uth jao deviyo" I heard my father saying. I tucked the blanket over my face.

"Papa, just 2 more minutes" Didi said showing her two fingers to him.

"Okay. Mujhe kya, jab tumhari mummy yaha aayegi tab pata chalega"

Papa said with a shrug and a smirk. I groaned and sat up slowly. No one can escape my mummy. Didi sat too.

Papa chuckled looking at our irritated expressions.

"Breakfast?" He asked teasingly as he knew we won't refuse. We can't refuse. Why? Because of our beloved mother.

I stood up, brushed my teeths and went towards dining table. I was about to sit when suddenly I remembered their last night talk.

Are they going to take us for a trip? Naah not possible. Then? You can ask too idiot. I thought.

"Mummy, Papa " I started but paused as they both didn't even give any expression that would tell if they are listening or not.

"Suno na" I whined a little and they both looked at me.

"Haa to mummy papa what were you talking last night?" I asked straightly.

"We were talking?" Papa asked squinting his eyebrows. I looked at my mother, she was just serving with a straight face. No reaction at all.

"Yes Papa. You and mummy were talking last night" I stated. Papa and Mummy both looked at me in confusion.

"I guess you were dreaming" mummy said shrugging.

I was dreaming? But it was looking like I wasn't. Dreams aren't supposed to be like this, right? I was lost in my thoughts when I heard someone laughing, I looked at the source and found my mother and father laughing. It took me one whole second to realise that they were joking.

"Papa yaar" I whined.

Mummy just pointed at him and raised her hands signalling that it was his fault. I know that.

"Free entertainment? What's the topic today?" I heard my brother's amused voice.

"You too take a seat and enjoy" I said sarcastically but this idiot literally sat, looked at me and said "Continue"

I rolled my eyes.

"What's going on?" I heard my sister's voice.

"Yeah ma'am you were the only one left, come and enjoy my services" I said sarcastically, again.

"Correction. Free services" I glared at my brother.

"I am not here to entertain you all" I said taking my seat pouting.

"What's the work of joker then?" He asked and I glared at him.

"Maar dungi tujhe aaj" I said showing the knife to him but he only laughed.

"Okay enough. Don't tease my child" My father said. We all looked at him with eyebrows raised.

"Says the one who started this" my mother said sitting on her seat and everyone chuckled.

"But mumma papa seriously, what were you talking last night?" I asked and the laughter faded.

"Last night?" Bhaiya asked and I nodded.

"Chhor na tujhe bhi kya itna interest aa raha hai" Didi said shrugging.

"Arre to ye apni baate kar rahe the. That I have to leave Anvi and Sammy"

I said looking at her.

"Leave Anvi and Sammy?" She asked and I nodded.

"Batao na papa" I said using my sweet voice.

"Nashta karo. And we have to tell you something" mummy's stern voice made me look at my plate like it was the most beautiful thing ever.
